Polish U-19 midfielder Maxi Oyedele has joined Nation League side Altrincham FC on loan from Manchester United for the rest of the season.
This will be a good opportunity for the 18 year-old to gain experience of senior football whilst continuing his development under contract at one of the giants of the game. A technical defensive midfielder with ability to ride challenges, Oyedele is frequently able to hold onto the ball under pressure and resist tackles.
Oyedele is a regular for the U-18s at United and has been afforded a few opportunities with the U-21s this season. Born in Manchester, he has represented Poland at youth level on several occasions, the son to a Nigerian father and a mother from Zielona Góra.
Already invited to train with the Manchester United first team, Oyedele has impressed in the age groups for the club so far and will he looking to continue his development at international level when the U-19 qualification restarts.
It looks like Oyedele will have a bright future, be it at United or elsewhere, and the loan to Altrincham seems like a great start to his senior football career.
